Abstract Although the low-thrust liquid oxygen/methane rocket engine has broad application prospects, low flame propagation speed and combustion rate of methane fuel make still face key technical challenges. Methane is partially converted into hydrogen ethane with higher before being injected chamber, which positive for use dielectric barrier to improve performance engine. Therefore, this paper studies effect main four products discharge reforming conversion 10%, on flow field chamber. The results show that addition can effectively efficiency H 2 in product also specific impulse by increasing total pressure C 4 will not affect maximum temperature engine, However, it expand medium-high range different degrees. accelerates oxygen consumption rate, provides a feasible way reduce design size
